SS sheets are manufactured using hot and cold rolling processes to acquire flawless products with the desired mechanical properties. After manufacturing, these SS sheets are processed for the hot forming process. These sheets are not suitable for down temperatures. The sheets undergo a solution annealing process. These SS sheets are quenched and followed by air or water to achieve toughness and hardness. The SS grade is ductile and easily formable. It requires low speeds, feeds, and adequate cut depth for better machining results, which helps cut off machining costs.
Various tests are performed on the manufactured range of finished SS sheets. These include hardness tests, mechanical tests, PMI tests, tensile tests, destructive tests, non-destructive tests, radiographic tests, ultrasonic tests, flattening tests, and more.
